Maritime Experiential Museum @ Resorts World Sentosa16:04
This trip was back on 1st of April 2013 hehee. It was just a few days after our Adventure Cove trip. Back then, they separated the museum with the S.E.A. Recently I went there again and I notice that we can no longer go in to the museum with the normal few bucks ticket. So when you purchase the S.E.A ticket, you get to see the museum and typhoon experience as well.
We were so lucky cause back then they were still trying to pull in crowd to the museum and thus there were lots of promotion and free tickets when you purchase other RWS attraction tickets. Ronan got ours free from his friends who purchased USS tickets.
The place is really good for education purposes. It depicts the history of Singapore, of how the idea of a trading port came to and become who it is today. There are engaging games for us to play to understand better on how the trading works back in the days.
There is this row of "straits" of the trading ports of other countries with their specialty (ingredients or other stuffs) that they trade with each other.
This used to cost $10. Now it's inclusive in the S.E.A ticket (during non-peak period) that you purchase. We didn't pay for it though, as the free tickets entitled u to this as well. This experience is really very nice and good for education wise. It's engaging in a way that it is interesting and kept you going "whoa". You will know what I mean when you are inside. What I can assure you is that, just go! It's free now (ONLY non during non peak period) anyway ;)
We continued on to S.E.A Aquarium after that! It's on the next post! Enjoy!
